Let's talk about a thing or two regarding the now world famous so efficient Iron Dome.
Some media report the Iron Dome destroyed 80% of Hamas rockets. Others report it destroyed 20% of them. Who's telling the truth ?
Actually, both of them are telling half the truth, although the 80% doesn't reflect destruction numbers.
You may hear occasionnally that Hamas fired 20 rockets and 2 were destroyed by the Iron Dome. That's the best reporting you can get.
Because when you are told 80% of success, this is 80% of destruction attempts. So, if 20 rockets are launched and the Iron Dome attempt to destroy 16 of them you got your 80%. But how many of those were effectively destroyed ? Only two. That's 10% of the all rockets launched and a bit more if only the attempted destruction are taken in account.
But that's just statistics.
What's important is: What is happening with those thousand of rockets the Iron Dome is unable to destroyed? What's the damage cause by the 80% rockets the Iron Dome can't intercept?
Remember, more than 3000 rockets have been launched! So, where are the dead? Where are the damages? Where is the destruction?
All that we know is that among the 2400 for rockets which landed in Israel, 3 civilians were killed, including a Thai, and probably some Israelis were also wounded.
And we are told every day Israel is lucky to have the Iron Dome, otherwise it would be a carnage. And that's total bullshit!

Attempted murder and murder differ only in whether the homicidal intent was successful. If you fire a missile into a neighborhood, it's of limited relevance whether you actually hit someone or not, as you were clearly trying to hit someone. If the missile firing sort wouldn't hide among civilians, the toll on the civilians wouldn't be so great. As it stands, if the Palestinians really want peace, they need to rid themselves of those that fire rockets or immigrate.
